Born in Rovigo (Italy) in 1990, he studied Classical Guitar with prof. Monica Paolini at hometown Conservatory “F. Venezze”, graduating summa cum laude in 2013. Drawn to Early Music, he has thereafter undertaken the study of Renaissance and Baroque repertoire on the the lute. Performing both as a soloist and as an accompanist, he has attended master classes with Rolf Lislevand, Pietro Prosser, Luciano Contini and Michele Pasotti, completing in 2017 his Master's Degree in Lute under prof. Massimo Lonardi at the “Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali ‘F. Vittadini’ ” of Pavia graduating summa cum laude. Parallel to his studies as a lutenist and subsequent to his joining in 2009 local choir “Polifonico ‘Città di Rovigo’ ”, conducted by organist and harpsichordist Vittorio Zanon and baritone Marco Scavazza, he has also undertaken Renaissance and Baroque singing with the latter. As a baritone, he has sung both as a chorister and as a soloist with numerous Italian vocal and instrumental groups such as “Odhecaton Ensemble”, “RossoPorpora Ensemble”, “Ghislieri Choir & Consort”, “Consortium Carissimi”, “Gli Invaghiti”, “Iris Ensemble”, “Gambe di Legno”, “Il Canto d'Orfeo”, “Modo Antiquo”, etc.; and under conductors such as Walter Testolin, Paolo Da Col, Giuseppe Maletto, Davide De Lucia, Franz Comploi, Riccardo Favero,Francesco Baroni, Giulio Prandi, Gianluca Capuano, Federico Maria Sardelli. Since 2013 he also sings with the “Coro della Radiotelevisione Svizzera Italiana” (Swiss Radio Choir) of Lugano, conducted by Diego Fasolis. With it, he has taken part in the productions of Verdi's Requiem (2013),Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 2 Lobgesang (2014), and Brahms's Ein deutsches Requiem (2015) performed inBellinzona on the occasion of Good Friday celebrations; moreover, in 2013 and again in 2015, he took part in theMosche Leiser & Patrice Caurie productions of Bellini's Norma starring Cecilia Bartoli (with “Orchestra la Scintilla”, cond. Giovanni Antonini), staged in Salzburg during the Salzburger Pfingstfestspiele and the Salzburg Festival. Again in 2015, in another Leiser-Caurie production starring Bartoli and conducted by Fasolis, he tookpart in both Salzburg festivals' stagings of Gluck's Iphigénie en Tauride: additionally appearing as a soloist in the role of Un Scythe, as well as a chorister. In may 2016 participated as chorister and soloist to the production of Scarlatti's Stabat Mater and Monteverdi's Vespro della Beata Vergine with ensemble "Il Canto di Orfeo" (cond. Gianluca Capuano). In 2017 started to perform early italian baroque music and “recitar cantando” accompanying himself on the lute/theorbo as in use in the early XVII century in Italy. Lately, in 2018, as a chorister of the “Choeur de l'Opera de Dijon”, took part to the productions of Verdi's Simon Boccanegra and Leoš Janáček's Jenůfa.
